MSW Program at Elizabeth City

Mental Health Education is collaborating with the ECU School of Social Work to offer the off-campus MSW program at Elizabeth City. This program began offering classes in January 2001 to a cohort of 20 students. Most students indicate that they plan to remain in the area after graduation. Employers are enthusiastic about this program because they have been unable to recruit MSWs to the region and believe that training local students will meet an important need for the northeast counties.
