Eastern AHEC Department of Nursing Education is approved as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the North Carolina Nurses Association, which is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Nursing credit is awarded as CNE (Continuing Nursing Education) contact hours. These continuing education events feature prominent faculty who will address topics of current interest. The programs are designed to meet the needs of a wide range of nurses and other health professionals. Most of these programs are approved for CNE contact hours. Pre-registration is required.
