Healthcare and human services facilities may choose to develop formal contracts with Eastern AHEC to help meet their local continuing education needs. Each agency participates in a yearly needs assessment process to identify desired topics. Eastern AHEC then makes arrangements with expert faculty, obtains appropriate professional credit, coordinates on-site logistics, and prepares a budget. The programs are underwritten by the agency requesting them. They take place on-site, and may be opened to practitioners throughout the region if desired.
