School Mental Health Strategic Plan

The March Article of the Month is the School Mental Health Strategic Plan developed by statewide work group in the fall of 2005. This plan contains five goals focusing on the coordination and collaboration of agencies and organizations that do or can provide school mental health supports and services. The strategic plan in not perfect. However, it should serve as a guide for Local Education Agencies (LEAs), Local Management Entities (LMEs), other local services, and local advocacy organizations to begin a focused effort on establishing or improving school mental health supports and services.
