Depression and Suicide in Children and Adolescents

This month you have several options to explore more information on depression and suicide in children and adolescents.

The first link is to an excerpt from
Mental Health: A Report from the Surgeon General. It is concise, yet has some very helpful information on both depression and suicide.

The second series of links is to information from the National Institute of Mental Health. They all have some of the same information but in different formats. The last one, a booklet, has a checklist that may be helpful with children and youth.
